About NIOS Department:

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly known as the National Open School (NOS), was established in November 1989. It operates as an autonomous organization in alignment with the National Policy on Education 1986, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. NIOS offers various vocational, life enrichment, community-oriented, and academic courses at the secondary and senior secondary levels.

Post Details:

  1. Assistant:
    • Qualifications: 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Computer Speed 8000 Key Depressions per Hr.
    • Age: Below 27 Years
  2. Stenographer:
    • Qualifications: 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Certificate/Diploma in Secretarial Practice and English/Hindi 80 WPM and Computer Speed 8000 Key Depressions per Hr.
    • Age: Below 27 Years
  3. Junior Assistant:
    • Qualifications: 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Computer Speed 6000 Key Depressions per Hr.
    • Age: Below 27 Years
  4. Multi Tasking Staff:
    • Qualifications: Class 8th Primary School Pass
    • Age: Below 27 Years
  5. Section Officer (2):
    • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Any Subject with Second Class and 5 Years of Experience
    • Age: Below 37 Years

Academic Officer:

  • Qualification: Master’s Degree in a Related Subject with 55% Marks
  • Age: Below 37 Years
