Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to review potential fraud alerts identified by our fraud detection system, thereby safeguarding our customers from fraudulent activities and protecting the bank’s assets. The fraud analyst will also be responsible for documenting the research conducted to support the decisions made on these alerts.
The associate in this position will be expected to efficiently process a specific number of decisions per hour, and performance will be assessed based on the accuracy of decisions made. Achieving productivity and meeting fraud prevention goals is essential. Equally important is ensuring strict compliance with our policies and procedures, as well as adhering to relevant regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A fundamental understanding of the bank’s products and services.
- Familiarity with fraud detection systems.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including good keyboard and typing skills, and the ability to navigate various system applications.
- Computer literacy with a typing speed of 30-40 words per minute and 98% accuracy.
- Strong analytical abilities.
